| The magnificent Vidhana Soudha in Bangalore, is not just the seat of power in Karnataka, it is also a landmark close to the heart of every Bangalorean. Vikas Soudha, a replica of the Vidhana Soudha sports a 100 kWp Grid Connect Solar Power Plant on its rooftop, comprising of 663 nos. of 160 Wp modules. This system is the first of its kind in Karnataka and was financed by Karnataka Public Works Development.
Designed, engineered, manufactured, installed and commissioned by Tata BP Solar,
the Solar Array provides power to supplement the energy requirements of the building, that houses Government Offices. DC electricity from the solar array is converted to AC and fed into the local network through an AC distribution board and transformer. The power conditioning unit (PCU) provides grid connection and energy management.
